We are a small group of investigators based in Adelaide, South Australia. Our group study, research and investigate most aspects of the paranormal. We have been interested in this subject, as individuals, for many years and some of us have been investigating for nearly 18 years. It was in January 2002 that Alison Oborn and Jeff Fausch decided to form a new investigation group and Paranormal Field Investigators (PFI) was born. Although Jeff has now left P.F.I. for personal reasons, Alison still remains as team leader, and we thank him for all the contributions he made to the group over the years. People who join our team, generally have some knowledge and skill to help the investigations in some way. We have professional photographers and technical experts who build us some wonderful equipment, plus individuals who are prepared to sit and research the history of the area. We are open-minded and all investigations are treated in a professional manner, with respect and confidentiality to all persons involved. We try to conduct investigations in a more technical manner, relying heavily on electronic equipment rather then mediumistic skills. Our goal is to gather and collate data that will lead to a better understanding of the paranormal. In the process, we also wish to aid any individual having problems dealing with a situation. We hope to do this by educating them as to the true nature of their situation; giving them information and helping them to understand the situation, so creating a liveable resolution for people involved. If we are unable to help then we will try and put them onto people who can. We are open-minded to different theories and methods as this is not an exact science. Paranormal Field Investigators is not a public group, we do not have memberships and do not conduct public meetings. We are here simply to research, investigate and help people with their situations. We do not charge for our time or our services but do greatly appreciate any donations, as this allows us to purchase and build new equipment thus allowing us to further our investigations. If you would like any paranormal situation investigated or even if you just want to talk to somebody about it, then please do not hesitate to contact us. We have started up a database on possible hauntings in South Australia based on reports and investigations. So if you know of a haunted area, again please contact us so we can add this to our database.
